Switch the board into 3D and rotate, zoom and inspect it: a 1.6 mm substrate with its routed edge, stacked copper layers, drill holes and placed components. Flip it over to inspect the bottom side, and select the substrate or a component directly in the 3D view. - Layer control.

Components come straight from the file: Gerber X3 component layers (reference, value, package, mount type and rotation), KiCad, Altium, ODB++, Eagle and BoardView boards — no placement file needed. You can still import a CSV/TXT/POS with parser profiles. Search by reference, value or package, and highlight top or bottom components. - Net trace & search.
Tap copper to trace physically connected geometry without a netlist. In Landrex BoardView files, tap a pad to highlight every pad and test point on its named net, with top/bottom separation. Net search is also available from IPC-D-356, ODB++ and IPC-2581. - Markup & annotations.
Add notes, arrows, rectangles and ellipses right on the board. They stay pinned through zoom and pan and are saved with the project — ideal for review and field inspection. - Save in the original format.
Write a board back as ODB++, DXF, IPC-2581, Gerber or a placement file. Export Gerber and drill together with the .gbrjob manifest, the IPC-D-356 netlist and the placement CSV. A KiCad or Eagle board is never regenerated from what is on screen: the original file is kept, an untouched board comes back byte for byte, and a moved or deleted element is rewritten in place — anything the format cannot express is declined with the reason rather than approximated. - Fast workflow.

How it works
Open
On both iPhone and iPad, open files from the Files app or iCloud — a single file or a whole fabrication archive, every layer at once. On iPad you can also drag & drop them straight onto the canvas.
Inspect
Zoom to the smallest pad, toggle layers, measure distances and clearances, and find any component or net in seconds.
Export
Share HD PNG images, multi-page vector PDFs, CSV reports — or a project file your team can reopen as-is.

Are my design files private?
Yes. Every file is parsed and rendered on your device - nothing is uploaded, no AGBoard account is required and the app contains no tracking.
Is the app free?
AGBoard is free to download and lets you open five files at no charge. After those five file opens, an auto-renewable monthly or annual AGBoard Pro subscription is required to continue using the app. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your Apple Account settings.
Which devices are supported?
iPhone and iPad running iOS 17 or later. Rendering is GPU-accelerated with Metal; performance still depends on the device and the size and complexity of the board.
Is a Mac or Windows version planned?
Yes — Mac and Windows versions are planned for February 2027.
